My Weekend Lookbook: November 14-15, 2015

Hi friends, here’s a little recap of what I was up to this past weekend…

Friday night we double dated with our good friends down in the jersey shore and tried out a restaurant that had super delicious, healthy food. The restaurant served honey carrots that reminded me of the ones my mom used to make us as kids.

Saturday morning we drove back to the city and went for a nice quick run before packing up the car and heading to the mountains!

As much as I love living in NYC I really LOVE spending time in the great outdoors!

My Weekend Lookbook: November 7-8, 2015

Alaska flight from Seattle to Chicago

There’s no place like home! This past weekend I got to go home to Washington and spend some time with my parents and grandparents. Saturday morning my Dad and I got up early to go to eastern Washington with my grandpa “Maypa” to bird “hunt” which turned into shooting at cans.

We drove home over Chinook Pass where we got to see snow for the first time this winter!

My Mom and Nana made us steamed clams for dinner and then we ate the apple crisp I made Friday for dessert.

Sunday I spent flying back to the east coast to start a work trip Monday morning. I’m very used to flying back and forth across the country at this point but when I’m reading a good book the flights always pass even quicker… I’ve been reading The Goldfinch and CAN NOT put it down!! Have you read it!?
