A Snow Day Style Weekend
Hi friends! Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! I hope everyone had a great weekend!! We took a super quick trip to Washington to go skiing, enjoy all the new snow they’ve been getting and to celebrate my Dad’s birthday.
Skiing at Crystal Mountain
We spent Saturday at Crystal Mountain (where we got married!!) skiing with my parents. This was our first time back since we got married there in August and it was so much fun reliving so many happy memories. The snow was AMAZING! We stopped at my grandparents before heading to the airport to eat “Maypa Fried Chicken” to celebrate my Dad’s birthday a day early.
We took the red eye back Saturday night. We’re so lucky that we can both sleep on planes but because I’ve been reading the BEST book I was sad I didn’t get to read more. I made plenty of time for reading Sunday afternoon… Have you read The Cuckoo’s Calling? I wasn’t a big Harry Potter fan and this book is by the same author but you’d never know it! The Cuckoo’s Calling is a murder mystery based in London that I can’t put down!
With more snow in the forecast around the country, I hope everyone has an extra cozy week!
