FRIDAY FAVORITES: 5 HOLIDAY THINGS TO DO IN NYC

5 FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN NYC DURING CHRISTMASTIME

Hi friends! If you remember last weekend, I had two of my best friends in town from Seattle visiting and I got to play tour guide while dragging them around NYC and sharing all my favorite holiday things around the city. Well guess what?! I get to play tour guide again this weekend!! My parents are in town! While brainstorming what I wanted to do with them this weekend I thought I should share with everyone my favorite 5 things to do in NYC during Christmastime. I could do EVERY single one of these activities EVERY day in December and never tire of seeing these things/ doing these activities!

1. VISIT THE ROCKEFELLER TREE

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree - A must see if in NYC during Christmas time! | www.emmasexploring.com

2. WATCH THE ICE SKATERS IN CENTRAL PARK

What’s a visit to NYC in December without stopping by Central Park to watch the ice skaters? If you’re more talented than me on the ice, rent a pair of skates on hop on the rink yourself!

3. SEE THE ROCKETTES

Rockette's Christmas Spectacular at Radio City | www.emmasexploring.com

If you’ve never seen the Rockettes, pick a night, grab your favorite ladies and head down to Radio City! Spectacular really isn’t even a good enough way to describe this performance, once you’ve seen them you’ll have to go back every year!

4. GO TO THE NEW YORK CITY BALLET’S NUTCRACKER

New York City Ballet's The Nutcracker - A real treat!! | www.emmasexploring.com

5. THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN’S TRAIN SHOW

My Weekend Lookbook: November 14-15, 2015

Hi friends, here’s a little recap of what I was up to this past weekend…

Friday night we double dated with our good friends down in the jersey shore and tried out a restaurant that had super delicious, healthy food. The restaurant served honey carrots that reminded me of the ones my mom used to make us as kids.

Saturday morning we drove back to the city and went for a nice quick run before packing up the car and heading to the mountains!

As much as I love living in NYC I really LOVE spending time in the great outdoors!
