A SUNNY WEEKEND IN THE CITY
Hi friends! Happy Monday and Happy (belated) Day Light Savings! This weekend really felt like Spring is on it’s way in New York! I was in Nashville all last week for the Women in Aviation conference so I was so happy to have a relaxing weekend wandering around the city.
Saturday midday we decided to go for a walk and find somewhere to have lunch. There are SO many wonderful places to eat just blocks from where we live in the Upper West Side that we always try to check out new places. We decided to have burgers at Island Burger & Shakes because they had a table outside in the sun that caught our eye. We’ll definitely go back! Next time, not for the sunny table but for their amazing, super fresh tasting food!
We then walked through Central Park up to 96th street and then towards Riverside Park with a stop past Pomander Walk. My blogging friend Jess from Used York City had shared a post about this cute little mini neighborhood a few weeks back so I had been meaning to stop by, then, Sal mentioned he had read an article about the same place in the New York Times so it only seemed fitting to go peer through the gates together!
Sunday, was a nice relaxing day. I met one of my favorite gal-pals for brunch at Hundred Acres. If you haven’t checked out this cute SoHo gem, you have to go as soon as you can! Their poached eggs are out of this world! We visited with some family and then made dinner at home. For dinner we made elk + beef meatballs.
How was your weekend?!
I hope everyone has a extra productive week!
