FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND IN SEATTLE
Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope everyone got to spend yesterday with their Dad’s! I flew out to Seattle on Friday to celebrate Father’s Day with mine, and to spend the entire weekend with the rest of my family and friends!
Saturday morning we woke up and drove towards Snoqualmie to go for a hike at Rattlesnake Ridge. Normally, this hike is really crowded on the weekends but as you can probably tell by the photos I’ve shared it was raining so hard the trail wasn’t crowded at all!
Saturday evening we went downtown and triple dated with two of my besties and their guys at a DELICIOUS BBQ place in Ballard. Bitterroot is a cute, small restaurant so we had to wait a little while to get a table for six so while we waited we grabbed drinks next door at Percy’s and Co. Percy’s had amazing craft cocktails and tasty appetizers while we waited for dinner – but the real reason I can’t wait to go back was because the decor is just SO pretty! It’s always so much fun catching up with friends!!
Sunday morning Sal woke up at THREE THIRTY! (crazy, I know!!) to go golfing with my Dad. While they were golfing I whipped up a batch of my Dad’s favorite Jelly Filled Cookies using the Strawberry Jam my mom just finished making recently.
Not to brag…. But, they turned out SO good!! I don’t know why I never make these cookies for myself other than I know I’d end up eating too many!
Once the guys were back from golf we all headed out to my grandpa’s (Maypa’s) for a big Father’s Day BBQ! We brought Stew, our new bunny and my grandparents had so much fun watching him hop around!
Happy First Day of Summer!!
I hope everyone has a fabulous week!!
